Tour the Haunted Halls of MSP

Want to discover some of Jefferson City’s haunted past? On this Missouri State Penitentiary ghost tour, your guide discusses the history of the facility and highlights the strange, unusual and unexplained occurrences behind the walls!

You’ll be guided through Housing Unit 1 (Control Center), Housing Unit 4 (the oldest building still standing on the Missouri State Penitentiary site, built in 1868), dungeon cells, Housing Unit 3 and the infamous gas chamber where many notorious inmates were executed for their crimes.

Guests are encouraged to bring their own flashlights for areas with low visibility.
